Reportedly Tokyo Steel, the largest steelmaker in Japan has reported an operating loss of nearly ￥6,000 million and a net loss in April to June 2012.
The total sales figures amounted to ￥45,462 million. The loss figures went far beyond the estimate in the first quarter of fiscal 2012 as the estimated operating loss was around ￥1,000 million or so in April to September 2012.
